Description
Exhibit description | Laikrodis stalinis, horizontalus, bronzinis, šešiakampėje dėžutėje su trimis liūto letenos formos kojelėmis ir gongu. Laikrodžio mechanizmas matyti pro dėžutės šonuose esančius šešis netaisyklingo ovalo formos įstiklintus langelius. Viršutinėje dėžutės plokštumoje išgraviruotas Vilniaus vaizdelis sudaro ciferblato foną. Romėniški valandų skaitmenys (I–XII) ir pusvalandžius žyminčios žvaigždutės, išgraviruoti apskritoje žalvarinėje juostoje. Vienintelė valandinė rodyklė priekyje puošta ažūru su nedidele smaile, galas – pilnu apskritimu. Gongas pritvirtintas apačioje prie mechanizmą uždengiančios plokštelės. Mechanizmą dengianti plokštelė papuošta kiauraraščiu gėlių ornamentu. Įrašas ant mechanizmą dengiančios plokštelės: „Theodor Tarasovig Wilna“ ir skaičiai „12345“. Renesansinis stalinis laikrodis. Meistras THEODOR TARASOVIG. Visais laikais laikrodžio mechanizmas buvo talpinamas į korpusus, kurių forma priklausydavo nuo tuo metu vyravusio meno stiliaus, todėl pagal laikrodžio apdailą galima sužinoti, kokiame amžiuje jis pagamintas. Renesanso laikotarpiu, pradėjus klestėti ekonomikai, mokslui, kultūrai, keitėsi ir laikrodžių korpusų konstrukcija bei apdaila. Šiuo laikotarpiu Europoje galutinai susiformavo laikrodininko profesija. Išradus eigos spyruoklę, mechaninio laikrodžio variklį, buvo galima laikrodį sumažinti iki norimo dydžio bei formos. Apdailai buvo naudojami spalvoti metalai, krištolas, oda, lakas. Ciferblatai būdavo gaminami iš metalo. Juose graviruojami romėniški klasikinio šrifto, kiek vėliau arabiški valandų skaičiai. Įdomu tai, kad renesanso stiliaus laikrodžių ciferblate sukosi tik valandų rodyklė. XIV a. pabaigoje buvo gaminama vis daugiau patalpų vidui skirtų laikrodžių. Svarsčiui paslėpti buvo naudojamos spintelės. Šie laikrodžiai palaipsniui buvo vis mažinami. Taip atsirado įvairių formų mažų ant stalo pastatomų laikrodžių. Iš jų populiariausi buvo šešiakampės dėžutės formos laikrodžiai. |
