Description
Exhibit description | Tautodailininko Sauliaus Tamulio kaukė – Užgavėnių personažas Jaunoji. Kaukė drožta iš vientisos liepos medienos, šlifuota. Šmaikštus kaukės pavadinimas atsispindi veido bruožuose – didžiulis pailgas, vyriškų bruožų veidas su išskirtine nosimi, kurios gale palikta nenužievinta dalis aplink buvusią šakos vietą. Ties apatine lūpa palikta dar viena nenužievinta dalis, imituojanti karpą. Viršuje, ties kakta išskabtuota tarsi karūna, lankelis nuometui prilaikyti. Iš abiejų šonų ilgos linų pluošto supintos kasos. Kitoje pusėje autoriaus įrašas ranka bei data pieštuku. Vestuvininkų personažai žinomi nuo XX a. I p. Pamėgdžiodavo tikras vestuves, tačiau viską darydavo atvirkščiai. Jaunaja tapdavo vyras, o jaunikiu – moteris. Kostiumas dar labiau pašaržuodavo šiuos personažus. Jaunikis būdavo žemas, storas, kuprotas. Tuo tarpu jaunoji – aukšta, stambi. Drabužiai atitikdavo vestuvių protokolą, tačiau buvo siuvami iš tarpusavyje nederančių medžiagų. |
