Babtai Local History Museum has been operating since 1958. The museum has a permanent exhibition, which introduces the peasantry and landlords, who lived in the vicinity of Babtai, their developed businesses and crafts, and exhibits old household appliances. Visitors have the opportunity to see publications published during the Prohibition of Press (1864–1904) in Russian characters, Lithuanian books published in Tilžė and others.

Tadas Ivanauskas Obelynė Homestead was established in 2015 as the structural unit of Kaunas Region Museum. The memorial homestead of the Lithuanian naturalist, writer and academic Tadas Ivanauskas (1882–1970) consists of a living and gardener's house, a shed, a garden and a park. Tadas Ivanauskas is a pioneer of environmental protection not only in Lithuania. In 1920 prof. Tadas Ivanauskas bought an 8 hectare plot of land near Ringaudai, where he built a living house and other buildings, and established Obelynė Botanical Park. In 1958 this park has been declared as the nature monument. 

The museum exhibits personal belongings of Tadas Ivanauskas: furniture, awards, books, documents, art.

Traditional Craft Center offers access to the history of 19^th–20^th centuries. In the centre 19^th–20^th century motors, agricultural machinery, motors of Lithuanian companies, automobiles, motorcycles, craftsmen's tools used in the countryside, household items are exhibited. The constructor Juozapas Liekis was a initiator of this collection. Visitor can also see very rare equipment, that is now is repaired, refurbished and operating properly. The main exhibition is supplemented with flax processing tools, weaving mashines made by Kaunas region folk artists.
