Klaipėda Athletes House-Museum started its activities in 2007. The Museum has a frequently-updated exhibition space dedicated to the history of sports in the city of Klaipėda, which reviews Klaipėda’s sports history from its beginnings to the present day.

The exhibition reflects the earliest period of Klaipėda’s sports history, the post-war years, and sports in the years after the regaining of Independence. It presents the athletes from Klaipėda, including participants in the Olympic and Paralympic games. A separate section is dedicated to the sports traditions and events that are unique to Klaipėda. The city’s athletes of the year are introduced.

Klaipėda Athletes House-Museum hosts exhibitions dedicated to the anniversaries of various sports and prominent athletes as well as significant sports events.

The activities of the Klaipėda Athletes House-Museum are administered and coordinated by the Klaipėda City Athletics School.
