The Historical Complex of Šeimyniškėliai Mound is a branch of the Memorial Museum of A. Baranauskas and A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas. The complex recalls the only Lithuanian king, Mindaugas. In the mid–18^th century, a national wooden castle stood on Šeimyniškėliai Mound protecting the northern border of Lithuania. It was the largest castle in East Lithuania. At present, it is the best-researched mound in the whole of Lithuania.

The lookout point and gallery exhibitions present the history of the former Šeimyniškėliai (Voruta) Castle, Lithuanian historical fragments, archaeological finds, soldiers' weapons from the 13^th–14^th centuries, everyday objects of the castle inhabitants and a model of the castle. Near the stronghold, visitors can try their hand at archery or spear throwing and recreate the everyday life of that time: strike a fire, make tea over a campfire, twist a rope, explore an experimental archaeological site, train on a soldiers' training ground, and play old games. Various historical festivals take place on Šeiminyškėliai Mound, attracting visitors from Anykščiai and beyond.

The Bronė Buivydaitė Memorial House-Museum is a branch of the Memorial Museum of A. Baranauskas and A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas. The memorial museum of the poet, playwright, and children's book author Bronė Buivydaitė (pseudonym – Tyrų Duktė, 1895–1984) is located in the Old Town of Anykščiai, near a church, and preserves the soul of the life and work of this 20^th-century Lithuanian poet. The homestead, surrounded by the relics of the writer, takes the visitor back to the time of the characters she created. A garden with sculptures and flowers is currently being created near the house.

Jonas Biliūnas Homestead-Museum is a branch of the Memorial Museum of A. Baranauskas and A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas. The Homestead Museum, the birthplace of writer Jonas Biliūnas (1879–1907), bears witness to the origins of the work of the Lithuanian pioneer of lyrical prose. The museum displays objects from the Biliūnas family, books by the writer, photographs, and woodcarvings by folk artists based on Biliūnas' storeys.

The Homestead-museum of Liudvika and Stanislovas Didžiuliai  is a branch of the Memorial Museum of A. Baranauskas and A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas. At the end of the 19^th century, the Didžiuliai family manor gained importance as a place of Lithuanian cultural and public life and became the distribution centre of the banned Lithuanian press in the East Aukštaitija region. In the house of Liudvika Didžiulienė-Žmona (1856–1925), writer and author of the first Lithuanian cookbook Lietuvos Gaspadinė (The Lithuanian Housewife), and her husband, bibliophile Stanislovas Didžiulis (1856–1927) and their children, household objects and documents depicting the life and work of this educated family and testifying to the living history of book smugglers are exhibited. The museum preserves a hiding place of the banned press.

The Narrow-Gauge Railway Museum is a branch of the Memorial Museum of A. Baranauskas and A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas. Established in the Anykščiai railway station, the museum presents a unique technical heritage – the narrow-gauge railway. The history of the hundred-year-old narrow-gauge railway is illustrated in several exhibitions of the museum. The station building, which still serves its purpose today, has a waiting room and a patriotic Train Station Chief office from the interwar period of independent Lithuania. The museum exhibits include various tools used for laying and repairing railways, collected from different sections of the narrow-gauge, as well as radio and signalling equipment. In the new pavilion, a collection of locomotives and wagons is exhibited: a Škoda steam engine, a diesel locomotive, a rail truck, draisines (self-propelled railway carts) and railway engines.

The Granary of Poet and Bishop Antanas Baranauskas is a branch of the Memorial Museum of A. Baranauskas and A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas. The granary of Antanas Baranauskas (1835–1902) was built in 1826 and became the first memorial museum in Lithuania. It was here that the 24-year-old poet Antanas Baranauskas wrote the hymn to the Lithuanian past, the poem The Forest of Anykščiai (Lit. Anykščių Šilelis), in the summers of 1858–1859. The garret where Lithuania's most translated literary work was written now houses authentic furniture, household objects and books from Antanas Baranauskas, as well as translation editions of The Forest of Anykščiai. The modern exhibition shows the seven talents of Antanas Baranauskas. From its foundation to becoming the most important literary museum in Lithuania, the history of the granary is presented in the animated Granary Tale.

The Memorial House-Museum of Writer Antanas Vienuolis-Žukauskas is a branch of the Memorial Museum of A. Baranauskas and A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas. The Memorial House-Museum of the most famous 20^th-century writer of the Anykščiai region, Antanas Vienuolis-Žukauskas (1882–1957), used to house the town's intelligentsia and was a place that combined the duties of a pharmacist with the vocation of a writer, the centuries-long history of the Anykščiai region and Caucasian traditions. The authentic rooms where Antanas Vienuolis lived and worked have been preserved here, and the writer is buried in the garden next to the house. The memorial rooms evoke a feeling as if Antanas Vienuolis had lived and written here not so long ago. With the help of museologists, the exhibits tell lively stories about the writer, pharmacist, initiator of cultural tourism and a true native of Anykščiai, as well as about the town in his time.

The Stone Painting Exhibition of Folk Artist Stanislovas Petraška is a branch of the Memorial Museum of A. Baranauskas and A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas. The museum presents an exhibition of stone paintings by Stanislovas Petraška (1935–2009), a folk artist from Anykščiai. The artist captured the landscapes of his homeland and the symbols of Lithuania through his unique stone dust painting technique. A visual narrative illustrates the extraordinary process that took place in the artist's workshop as the paintings came to life. The exhibition also offers visitors the opportunity to try out stone dust painting for themselves.
