Description
Exhibit description | Ragotinė (lenk. rohatyna, rus. рогaтина) – ietis plačiu, lapo formos antgaliu ir santykinai neilgu (maždaug 2 m ilgio) kotu. Viduramžiais ši ietis buvo naudojama stambių gyvūnų, kaip lokiai, medžioklėje, bet tapo ir koviniu ginklu, kuriuo buvo ginkluoti tiek pėstininkai, tiek kavalerija. Ragotinė plačiai naudota Maskvos valstybėje, Lenkijoje ir Lietuvoje. Ginklo pavadinimas Lietuvos Didžiojoje Kunigaikštystėje ir Lenkijoje paplito iš Ukrainos. XVI–XVIII a. ragotinės buvo svarbi Lietuvos kariuomenės kazokų ir ypač petihorų vėliavų ginkluotės dalis.
Antgalį sudaro geležtė, mova ir jas skiriantis žiedas. Geležtė ilga, su išilginiu grioveliu abiejose pusėse ir kraštus aprėminančia iškilia linija. Geležtė pritvirtinta apkaustais, kurie tęsiasi nuo žiedo. Apkaustų kraštai dekoruojant išpjaustyti. Mova ilga, su sustorinimu apačioje. Geležtės apkaustai ir mova puošti augaliniais ornamentais įterptais į plonų linijų atskirtas juostas. Apkaustų ornamentai tamsesni (bronzos lydinys arba auksas), movos šviesūs – sidabro ornamentai ant juodinto fono. 2012 m., atnaujinant Ginklų istorijos ekspoziciją, pritvirtintas naujas tamsiai rudos spalvos kotas. |
