Description
Exhibit description | Laikrodis sieninis, statomas ant konsolės, bulio stiliaus, su bronzos inkrustacijomis vėžlenoje, kuria padengtas medinis korpusas. Postamentas su keturiomis bronzinėmis kojelėmis. Jį puošia arklių figūros, į kurias remiasi laikrodžio korpusas, apačioje puoštas spiraliniais akanto lapų užraitais su stilizuotais ožių galvų bareljefais. Įgaubtų laikrodžio korpuso šoninių sienelių briaunos pagražintos bareljefais–kariatidėmis. Įstiklintų laužytos arkos formos priekinių durelių apačią puošia bronzinė dviem žirgais skriejančio Fajetonos figūra. XVII a. antroje pusėje laikrodžių korpusai buvo pradėti gaminti iš medienos, žalvario ir vėžlio kiauto. Dar X a. italų meistras Mary de Mediči (Marie de Medici) Prancūzijoje ėmė populiarinti vėžlio kiauto ir žalvario inkrustacijos techniką. Ją ištobulino Andrė Šarlis Bulis. Jis buvo įtakingas baldų ir laikrodžių korpusų konstruktorius, gavęs Prancūzijos karaliaus Liudviko XIV baldžiaus ir skulptoriaus titulą. A. Š. Bulis baldus, laikrodžius, sietynus ir kitus dirbinius gamino Luvro rūmams, Versalio pilies interjerui. Ištobulinta vėžlio kiauto ir žalvario inkrustacijos technika yra pavadinta Andre Šarlio Bulio vardu. Jis buvo geriausias šios technikos žinovas. Ši technika atliekama išpjovus vienodą ornamentą ant žalvario ir vėžlio kiauto plokštelių. Išpjauti ornamentai atskiriami ir į vėžlio kiauto ornamento likusią tuščią vietą įdedamas žalvarinis ornamentas. A.Š. Bulio apdailos technika idealiai išreiškė baroko laikotarpiu madoje vyravusį sodrių spalvų puošnumą ir prabangą. |
