Exhibit description | Elektromechaninis laikrodis mediniame korpuse su papildomu išoriniu ciferblatu. Priekinės korpuso durelės įstiklintos, viršuje stiklas ovalo formos ir prie jo pritvirtintas ciferblatas su valandų (1–12) skaitmenimis. Prie korpuso nugarinės sienelės pritvirtintas atskiras minutinis mechanizmas su ciferblatu. XIX a. atsiradęs mokslas apie elektrą buvo pradėtas taikyti ir laikrodinkystėje. Daugelis to meto mokslinių ir buitinių išradimų palengvino žmonių gyvenimą. Vienas iš tokių buvo 1800 m. italų profesoriaus Aleksandro Volto sukurta pirmoji pasaulyje baterija, kuri gamino nuolatinę elektros srovę. Šis išradimas buvo pritaikytas visose gyvenimo srityse, taip pat ir laikrodžių gamyboje. Elektrinių laikrodžių konstrukcijos skiriasi priklausomai nuo to, kiek funkcijų atliekama naudojant elektrą, kiek mechaniškai. Šių laikrodžių švytuoklės, balansai, kamertonai, periodiškai sujungdami elektros grandinės kontaktą, naudoja šaltinio energiją svyravimams palaikyti ir rodyklėms sukti. 1849 m. elektromechaninį laikrodį sukonstravo Čarlzas Šeferdas. Pirmąjį elektromagnetinį laikrodį 1889 m. sukūrė Karlas Augustas Šteinheilis ir Čarlzas Vetstounas. Prancūzijoje 1919 m. buvo sukonstruotas pirmasis elektroninis laikrodis. Jo autoriai – Feliksas Blo chas ir Georgas Abrahamas. Salėje taip pat rodomas mechanizmas, kuris pristato elektromechaninio laikrodžio veikimo principą. Laikrodžio mechanizmas, periodiškai sujungiamas į elektros grandinės kontaktą, naudoja šaltinio energiją švytuoklės svyravimams palaikyti ir rodyklėms sukti. Tokie elektromechaniniai laikrodžiai buvo panaudoti XIX a. pab. – XX a., kai kūrė vieno laiko sistemą. Toliau buvo sukurti elektromagnetiniai, elektroniniai, kvarciniai, kvantiniai laikrodžiai ir Vieningo laiko sistema. |
