Exhibit description | Paveiksle barkas pavaizduotas plaukianti Oresundo sąsiauriu (dan. Øresund), jungiančiu Šiaurės bei Baltijos jūras. Kaip ir daugelyje J. Pereseno marinų, kairėje tolumoje matyti kranto apybraižos, o dešinėje ryškėja Kronborgo pilies siluetas (Helsingør, Danija). Paveikslo kompozicija ir nuotaika (rami jūra, išraiškingi debesys) puikiai atskleidžia dailininko stiliaus savybes. Tas pats laivas nutapytas du kartus: pirmajame plane iš šono, antrajame - pasisukęs į žiūrovus trimis ketvirčiais. Ant jo stiebo plevėsuoja Prūsijos vėliava. Krovininis laivas pavadintas romėnų derlingumo deivės Cereros, dažniausiai siejamos su javais, vardu (lot. Ceres). |
