Exhibit description | J. Tumo-Vaižganto memorialinis daiktas: M. Menčinsko sukurtas Valančiaus paminklo projektas
Ant gelsvo popieriaus juodu pieštuku nupieštas M. Valančiaus paminklo projekto fragmentas. Atlikta gelsvu ir juodu pieštuku. Žemiau ant gelsvo lapo atspausta: „Vidus, Granitas ir Imitacion de piedra“.
Dešiniame kampe užrašytas autoriaus M. Menčinsko autografas ir „Buenos Aires 1932“. Popierius yra baltas, su vandens ženklais, ir iš viršaus priklijuotas kreidinis popierius.
J. Tumas-Vaižgantas buvo Komiteto Vyskupo Valančiaus paminklui statyti (1925-1933) sekretoriumi ir kasininku. Jo žinioje buvo įvairūs dokumentai, tarp jų buvo B. Bučo, K. Urbo, B. Elsbergo, V. Grybo, M. Menčinsko ir kiti pasiūlymai paminklo projektui.
