Information about the museum
The Daugyvenė Museum-Reservation on History of Culture is the pride of Radviliškis region. This highly popular museum is valued as one of the richest, best-preserved sites of memory in terms of its exhibitions, collections, and work, and as a unique example of restoration and preservation of cultural history and complex heritage.
The museum was founded in 1991 on the initiative of heritage conservation specialist Egidijus Prascevičius. The unique complex of historical and cultural monuments on the riverbanks of Daugyvenė in a distinct landscape offers visitors an unforgettable experience. The Museum-Reservation includes the following branches: the Burbiškis Manor History Exhibition, the Kleboniškiai Rural Life Exhibition, the Raginėnai Archaeological Complex and the Šeduva Regional Museum (the collections of the latter have now moved to the Daugyvenė Museum-Reservation).
