Exhibit description | Ši įspūdinga lankytojų pamėgta drobė iš Mykolo Žilinsko kolekcijos į Lietuvą atkeliavo kaip garsaus XVII amžiaus ispanų dailininko J. de Riberos [Jusepe de Ribera] kūrinys. Vėliau, konsultuojantis su senosios olandų ir flamandų dailės žinovais, buvo nustatytas tikrasis jos autorius. Tai – Romoje gyvenęs ir kūręs olandų tapytojas Davidas de Haenas (D. de Hanas), kurio darbuose akivaizdi Riberos įkvepėjo Karavadžo (M.M. de Caravaggio) įtaka. Mūsų muziejuje eksponuojamas vienas iš kelių pasaulyje išlikusių šio anksti mirusio autoriaus kūrinių. Ši drobė neabejotinai yra viena iš įspūdingiausių dailininko kūryboje. Paveiksle įamžintas siužetas apie gailestingąjį samarietį atkeliavo iš Jėzaus Kristaus palyginimų. Pagrindinė šio palyginimo mintis – mylėk savo artimą kaip save patį. |

Information about historical, cultural and art object
Plot | Paveiksle įamžintas siužetas apie gailestingąjį samarietį į dailę atkeliavo iš Jėzaus Kristaus palyginimų, užfiksuotų Šventajame Rašte. Šis moko savo artimą mylėti kaip patį save (Lk 10, 30-37). Jame pasakojama, kad kartą vieną žmogų, keliavusį iš Jeruzalės į Jerichą, užpuolė plėšikai. Jie jį išrengė, sumušė ir nuėjo sau, palikę pusgyvį ant kelio. Atsitiktinai tuo pačiu keliu ėjo kunigas ir levitas. Abu matė nelaimingąjį, bet praėjo kita kelio puse. Tiktai pakeleivis samarietis (tradicinis žydų priešas – samariečiai nepripažino judaizmo) jį užtikęs pasigailėjo. Jis priėjo prie gulinčiojo, užpylė ant žaizdų aliejaus ir vyno, aptvarstė, paskui užkėlęs nelaimingąjį ant savo gyvulio, nugabeno į užeigą ir slaugė. |
