Description
Exhibit description | Porcelianas – tobuliausia keramikos rūšis. Kinijoje jis buvo žinomas jau VI amžiuje, Japonijoje pradėtas gaminti apie 1500 metus. Pirmąsias žinias apie porcelianą dar XIII amžiuje į Europą atvežė keliautojas Markas Polas. Nedaugelis jomis tikėjo. Viduramžiais į Europą patekę Rytų porceliano dirbiniai buvo labai vertinami ir branginami. Ilgą laiką Europoje stengtasi atspėti porceliano gamybos paslaptis. 1708 metais vokiečių alchemikas Johanas Frydrichas Biotgeris [Johann Friedrich Böttger] išrado kietąjį porcelianą. Pirmojo europietiško porceliano išradėjas tarnavo pas Prūsijos karalių Fridrichą I, vėliau juo susidomėjo Lenkijos karalius ir Lietuvos didysis kunigaikštis, Saksonijos kunigaikštis Augustas II. Jis alchemiką įkalino savo pilyje, reikalaudamas atskleisti „aukso paslaptį“. 1710-aisiais europietiškas porcelianas buvo pradėtas gaminti Meiseno mieste buvusioje Albrechtsburgo pilyje. Čia buvo įsikūrusi Karališkoji Saksonijos kunigaikščio manufaktūra. Johanas Frydrichas Biotgeris manufaktūrai vadovavo iki pat mirties. Manufaktūros istorijoje 1710–1719 metai vadinami Biotgerio periodu. Cukrinė yra ekspozicijoje rodomo reto garsiausios Europoje Meiseno manufaktūros servizo dalis. Tai – Johano Frydricho Biotgerio raudonos akmens masės indai. Kruopščiai poliruoti, raižyti porceliano dirbiniai primena kinų ir japonų porcelianą, atkartoja to meto metalinių indų formas. |
